Wedding-Day Checklist

To-dos to be certain you’re on top of everything!

 

Prepare final day-of payments
Most of your vendors will have been paid ahead of time so that you won’t have to try to remember what is owed to whom on your wedding day. For those vendors which require day-of payments. We will provide you with a full list of payments and amounts for you to be able to simply arrange in advance.

Ensure receipt
When your vendors collect your final payments, have each of them sign a note indicating they’ve
received it, if anyone claims he wasn’t paid, you will have proof that they were.

Create tip envelopes
If you plan on tipping anyone, such as your catering manager, venue manager, waiting or bar staff or DJ, prepare envelopes with their names and insert the correct amounts. Sealed envelopes are the best and safest option.

Drop your luggage off early
If you’ll be staying overnight at a hotel after the wedding, or plan on getting ready in your venue bridal room, have a friend or family member drop these off at the venue the morning of the wedding.

Have wedding items in place before the big day
Designate a trusted friend or family member to deliver your wedding favors, toiletries for restrooms, seating cards, menus, escort cards, table plan, flip flops, dancing items, schtick etc. to your venue the day before or morning of the wedding.

Put your signature-couple drinks in writing
Create a sign to rest on the bar which lists your couples drinks, deliver this to your venue together
with your other items.

Have wedding items in place before the big day
Designate a trusted friend or family member to deliver your wedding favors, toiletries for restrooms, seating cards, menus, escort cards, table plan, flip flops, dancing items, schtick etc. to your venue the day before or morning of the wedding.

Refer to your wedding itinerary
Refer to the detailed wedding itinerary provided to you by BE Group. This will allow you, your bridal party and families what will be taking place. It also allows lets them know where and when to arrive for photographs

Review printed materials
Be sure to carefully check place cards, table numbers, menus and programs for errors before your
Wedding.

Line your cards up
Arrange all your escort and seating cards in alphabetical order ahead of time. Bring an extra copy of the seating arrangements. Provide these to you BE group event manager.

Bridal party flowers
Pre-ordered flowers from your production décor designer such as bridal bouquet, boutonnieres, head crowns, will be waiting for you in your venue’s the bridal room.

Arrange transportation home for your bridal party
If your planning on having your bridal party arrive via shared transportation, make sure they have a ride at the end of the evening as well.

Nominate a gift caretaker
Designate in advance someone to take your cash gifts / presents / Ketubah / breaking glass / personal items home for you. Give him/her a hotel/house key so they can have everything there for you when you return.
Give your marriage documents to someone responsible
Appoint someone to keep your signed Ketubah / marriage license until the end of the evening so it
doesn’t get lost.

Don’t go hungry!
Make sure you eat during your wedding. Going through the celebration on an empty stomach isn’t
helpful in dealing with all the excitement.

Pack a big-day emergency kit
Create a day of emergency with useful items such as paracetamol, safety pins, lip gloss, hemming
tape for last-minute repairs, traction pads for heels, shawl, stain remover etc.

Pack for your honeymoon early
Pack sooner rather than later to guarantee less worry, make sure your passports and travel documents are in order.
